Joining Anderson Island Irregulars and Sailing Program

APPLICATION PROCESS

Members love talking about our club, so if you have questions, want to visit our boats, or just want to learn more about us before you join, go to Contact Us and request a call. One of our members will be in touch with you shortly.​  When you're ready to join, complete an application form and send it, along with membership dues, to P.O. Box 557, Old Mystic, CT 06372.  
 

ANNUAL CLUB DUES: Membership dues are paid annually at the yearly membership meeting in March or April which kicks off the sailing season. 

 

There are 3 levels of membership:

  - Support  Members participate in supporting A.I.I. mission and enjoy the camaraderie of social events throughout the year.​​

  - Crew:  Members at this level crew on sails scheduled by skippers. All sailing members join at the crew level. They are developing mastery of the skills needed to skipper a boat independently.​​

​  - Skipper:  Members at this level have demonstrated mastery of the skills on the Skipper Checklist.  Skippers can take club boats out for sails within the boundaries of the club's sailing area.  ​

Crew and Skipper Levels require a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate

 

All Members of Anderson Island Irregulars must also be members of Mystic Seaport Museum.
